Jindal Steel & Power, an Indian steel and energy company announced that CRISIL Ratings has upgraded its rating from CRISIL A- with a 'stable' outlook to CRISIL A+ with a 'Positive' outlook on the Long-Term Bank Facilities of the company.
The credit rating agency has also upgraded ratings on short-term bank facilities of the company from 'CRISIL A2+' to 'CRISIL Al+'.
"The ratings are upgraded to CRISIL A+ with Positive outlook for Long Term Bank Facilities and CRISIL Al+ for Short Term Bank Facilities," the company said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.05, or 0.26%, to trade at Rs 402.85. The total volume of shares traded was 144,560 at the BSE (11.07 a.m.,Thursday).
